started the day off taking a few engagement pictures down town rochester. my parents threw a "4th of july barbeque" and had family and friends over to watch the fireworks. i think my favorite part of the day was flying my "dora the explorer kite" that uncle mike got me. it has been forever since i flew a kite and it was so much fun!

it was so much fun last night! those kites were the highlight of the day, we took our dora kite out on the boat, it got sooo high! those were the best fireworks ever!! that is my favorite night of the year, i look forward to it every summer!
tell gabe, his parents are the nicest people, i just loved them, they were so sweet and they just loved our madeline too, you are getting some great in-laws!
